SPARQ Solutions is committed to providing opportunities for staff to support the communities in which we live and work. At the same time we are committed to assisting staff with their emotional and physical health, wellbeing and enjoyment through social interaction with colleagues, friends and families outside the working environment.

For these reasons, SPARQ has established a Social and Community Club, which facilitates social, volunteering and fundraising activities which support community organisations. Currently, SPARQ is supporting:

• Assistance Dogs Australia - Assistance Dogs Australia provides service and companion dogs to children and adults with physical disabilities, to assist them to live normal lives. Dogs are specially raised and trained over a two year period at a cost of $20,000 per dog. SPARQ is supporting Assistance Dogs Australia through fundraising and volunteering activities, through the sponsorship of our own assistance dog, SPARQY, for the duration of this two year training period.
• Various environmental organisations via the Ergon Energy Green Team – SPARQ Solutions participates in environmental activities in conjunction with the Ergon Energy Green Team. Activities include participating in Clean Up Australia Day, Beach Clean-Up programs, support for local council initiatives, Tidy Towns Action Groups, World Environment Day and National Recycling Week.
